Hurricane Relief
PSA has partnered with local community efforts in devastated regions in North Carolina and Tennessee
We have setup strategic partnerships and are sending weekly teams to help provide much needed relief to those affected by Hurricane Helene. We believe that relief should include restoring dignity to those who have lost so much. Our efforts include providing Thanksgiving meals in poor communities, as well as building tiny homes (not just temporary shelters) for those displaced, and outfitting a clothing distribution center. See details on how you can help below. Click on the Donate button to help today - ALL donations given to PSA for the remainder of 2024 will go directly towards relief efforts.

Thanksgiving Meals
We will be helping to provide Thanksgiving meals to needy communities in North Carolina. We're leading a team that will provide hundreds of Thanksgiving meals on Saturday, Nov 23rd, and on Thanksgiving Day.

Building Tiny Homes

While many immediate relief efforts focus on temporary shelters (such as sheds), to help get people out of tents, we want to help get families back on their feet by building tiny homes in Western North Carolina to house displaced and needy families. We have secured suppliers and contractors to build fully furnished (including plumbing, electricity and heat/ac) tiny homes which normally cost $50,000 for $12,000 each. We have already raised the funds and purchased one of these homes. Your donation will help us build more of these homes to provide shelter and dignity to those in need. Donate HERE to help with this amazing opportunity.
Clothes and more . . .

J.R. and Carmen, near Butler, Tennessee, had just closed on the purchase of an old elementary school. One day later, the storm hit. Immediately, the school has become the emergency relief headquarters for an entire region. The gym is filled with heaters, diapers, food and much more. They are utilizing some of the portable classrooms to house the thousands of clothing items that have been donated by generous Americans over the past few weeks. We are sending teams weekly to help sort clothes, and are purchasing clothing display racks, hangers and more, so that we can set it up in a way that helps restore dignity and worth to those in need. Rather than root through boxes of clothes, needy families will be able to go with a volunteer, to check out this new "clothing store" (where everything is free) to try on items that fit them, and help them get back on their feet.
